Ingredients | Homemade Turkey Stuffing With Sausage

1 pound sweet pork sausage

2 cups chopped mushrooms

2 stalks celery, chopped

1 apple - peeled, cored, and diced

½ onion, chopped

½ (12 ounce) package seasoned dry stuffing mix

½ (12 ounce) package cornbread stuffing mix

1 (14.5 ounce) can chicken broth

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Heat a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Cook sausage, mushrooms, celery, apple, and onion together in the hot skillet for 15 minutes. Stir in seasoned stuffing and cornbread stuffing mix. Pour in chicken broth; combine all ingredients thoroughly. Place mixture into a deep baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 45 minutes.
